Horyou on its way to China
Chinese members, artists, philanthropists and organizations will join forces and connect for good in Mandarin
Geneva, June 2016 — Horyou, the social network for social good, has just launched its platform in Mandarin, the most widely spoken language in the world, thus broadening its 250,000 users’ community to China. This is the first step towards the establishment of an Horyou office and operations in the country.
“We are very enthusiastic about the fact that Chinese citizens will now have the opportunity to join a platform that spreads positivity, meaningful and impactful projects and actions”, says Yonathan Parienti, CEO and founder of Horyou. The Swiss-based social network gathers personalities, organizations, philanthropists and internet users from all backgrounds – the Horyou community has now 250,000 users from 180 countries and more than 1,000 non-profit organizations.
Yonathan Parienti believes the platform will be a showcase for Chinese art, culture and innovation, besides philanthropists, non-profit and charity activities. “We have encountered great support for the Horyou platform among artists, universities and civil society during our visit to China. It’s a privilege to be a bridge between the Western world and China and to share its rich culture and history, as well as social good initiatives and family values”, he added.
Horyou is based on positivity and aims to communicate only non-political, non-religious and hate-free content. By promoting an impactful and peaceful communication, Horyou is a leading platform for global solidarity and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By using Horyou, our community of global citizens will also benefit from Spotlight, the first global social currency for economic inclusion, which promotes a fairer circulation of capital. By 2018, Spotlight is expected to benefit 300 million people worldwide. Chinese Horyou members and organizations will certainly be a significant part of the Spotlight universe.
By welcoming the Chinese people into our ever-growing community, we will be part of the positive evolution we want to see in this world.
